The basic formula is Q = m × c × ΔT: mass flow rate (kg/s) × specific heat of water (4.18 kJ/kg·K) × the inlet-to-outlet temperature difference. During selection, the real process load and diversity factor should be determined first, then the target water temperature and ambient design temperature should be clarified.
